The Warren County School District, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, set energy efficiency and conservation as a top priority for new construction in the school district. That’s why the architectural firm of Sherman Carter Barnhart turned to Nudura ICF for construction of Alvaton Elementary School. In addition to Nudura ICF, the architects incorporated geothermal, lighting and HVAC occupancy systems and an orverall R-30 insulation value. Construction took place during one of the wettest springs on record, which would have normally wreaked havoc with the schedule. Not with Nudura ICF. According to the architects, “The Nudura forms allowed the project to consistently run ahead of schedule.”
